• On the management and institutionality of social policy

    Fortified social institutionality is indispensable to the implementation of quality social policies. It also constitutes one of the pillars of the Regional Agenda for Inclusive Social Development, which poses ordinate lines of action ordered on the basis of the establishment, formalization and strengthening of social institutionality and the safeguarding and consolidation of social policy funding.

  • Equality in the 2030 Agenda and the human rights-based approach

    The 2030 Agenda emphasizes the needed for solid, effective, transparent and inclusive institutions in their own right and as a cross-cutting condition of sustainable development. This is recognized in Sustainable Development Goal 16’s call to “promote just, peaceful and inclusive societies” and call to “build effective, accountable and inclusive institutions at all levels”.
