The adult population suffered direct impacts from the Covid-19 pandemic, that were reflected in a higher rate of mortality. But they have also experienced major indirect impacts, such as the loss of support networks, restrictions on access health care and the possibility of experiencing neglect or abuse in medical institutions or care facilities.
